Registration criteria
Candidates with Polish university diploma
Candidate taking part in admission process must be a graduate of any type of BA, MA, M.Sc studies.
At the first stage of the admission procedure a candidate must pass the English language proficiency oral exam. Only the candidate with positive results of the language exam will be qualified for further admission process. The candidate presenting English language proficiency certificates (at least B2 level) is exempted from the exam.
At the second stage of the admission procedure:
1. Candidates who graduated from BA studies in Mongolian and Tibetan studies will be assessed on the basis of:
a. marks documented in the B.A. diploma
b. GPA of the B.A. studies
2. Candidates who present s a diploma other than mentioned in point number 1 (not of the Mongolian and Tibetan studies) will be assessed on the basis of:
a. marks documented in the B.A. diploma
b. results of the oral exam in Mongolian or Tibetan language
How the admission points are calculated:
Candidate may achieve maximum 200 points, what is a sum of individual elements of the admission procedure.
1. Points for candidates who graduated from BA studies in Mongolian and Tibetan studies are calculated as follows:
a. marks documented in the B.A. diploma
5 – 100 points
4+ – 92,5 points
4 – 85 points
3+ – 72,5 points
3 – 60 points
b. GPA of the B.A. studies
R = GPA x 100 / 5
2. Points for candidates who presents a diploma other than mentioned in point number 1 (not of the Mongolian and Tibetan studies) are calculated as follows:
a. marks documented in the B.A. diploma
5 – 100 points
4+ – 92,5 points
4 – 85 points
3+ – 72,5 points
3 – 60 points
b. results obtained during the oral exam in Mongolian or Tibetan language
5 – 100 points
4+ – 92,5 points
4 – 85 points
3+ – 72,5 points
3 – 60 points
Candidates with foreign university diploma
Rules of admission are the same as for candidates holding university diploma obtained in Poland. The marks will be transferred accordingly and compared with the admission points system of the University of Warsaw.
